I have been exploring ways to help more families successfully teach their children while still providing the homeschool environment and investing the time I want and need in my own family and I landed on a model that I have personally been using for years.

In Washington State I was a school district Learning Plan Coordinator for families. I met with families who choose to participate monthly. As a special education teacher for this program I provided parents tools to teach their students at home.

One of the tools I have loved and used with my own children since kindergarten is Lexia Core 5.

Lexia Core5 is a personalized online literacy program designed for students in grades PreK-5, focusing on developing foundational reading skills. It provides a comprehensive approach by targeting different aspects of reading, including phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency.

With the Personalized Reading Coaching Program each student enrolled will have access to Lexia Core 5 for daily reading instruction.
